I write to you today to express our enthusiastic support for our partners at the MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative, which has been working alongside us to develop and foster greater equity in the digital economy by empowering young Black people to succeed in the technology sector.

As you know, the Black community continues to be significantly underrepresented in the technology industry, including at many of the tech companies that now drive the Seattle-area economy. The MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative has developed a holistic 6 pronged approach to Black digital Empowerment. It is covering nutritional wellness, tutoring, career counseling, digital skilling, interview coaching and ongoing support while working to empower, to address the underlying barriers that have created racial disparities and assist in improving their quality of life.

We are very proud to be a full partner with the MLK Gandhi Initiative and appreciate your continued support for the issues and causes that are important and help move our communities forward.
