The Digital & Career Navigators program is the entry point into the MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative. Participants receive personalized career coaching, digital literacy training, and guided support to identify their career goals and build a realistic pathway into the workforce.

Whether you're just getting comfortable with a computer or ready to plan your next professional move, our navigators meet you where you are and walk with you every step of the way.

We also provide dedicated tech support to every participant — from troubleshooting device issues and software setup to connectivity problems and account access. Our support team ensures that technical barriers never stand between you and your progress.

Common Questions

Is the program really free?

Yes — 100% free. The MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative is fully funded through federal, state, and local grants. There are no tuition costs, fees, or hidden charges.

Do I need any prior experience?

Not at all. This program is designed to meet you where you are — whether that's learning to use a mouse or refining your LinkedIn profile for a career pivot.

What if I don't have a computer?

We provide loaner laptops to participants who need them. Technology access should never be a barrier to building your future.

How long is the program?

The Navigator track is self-paced and flexible to fit your schedule. Your career navigator will work with you to set a timeline that matches your goals.

What happens after I complete the Navigator program?

Graduates are guided into our Warp Tech Training program (Service Unit 2), where you'll build hands-on technical skills in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and more.

Are services available in languages other than English?

Yes — we offer multilingual support to ensure language is not a barrier. Our team works with participants in the language they're most comfortable with.
