The Digital & Career Navigators program is the gateway into the MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative. Participants receive personalized career coaching, digital literacy training, and guided support to identify their career goals and build a realistic pathway into the technology workforce.

The Digital & Career Navigators program is open to all adults in Washington & Oregon States looking to build digital skills and explore career opportunities in technology. We especially welcome participants from communities that have been historically underserved and underrepresented in the tech workforce.

Is the program really free?
Yes — 100% free. The MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative is fully funded through federal, state, and local grants. There are no tuition costs, fees, or hidden charges.
Do I need any prior tech experience?
Not at all. The Digital & Career Navigators program is designed to meet you where you are, whether that's learning to use a mouse or refining your LinkedIn profile for a career pivot.
What if I don't have a computer?
We provide loaner laptops to participants who need them. Technology access should never be a barrier to building your future.
How long is the program?
The Navigator track is self-paced and flexible to fit your schedule. Your career navigator will work with you to set a timeline that matches your goals.
Can I continue to other programs after this?
Absolutely. Digital & Career Navigators is the on-ramp to our full initiative. Participants often progress into our Warp Tech Training program and Internship Program as their skills grow.
